Finally Friday

I decided I would make this blog today because of my Grandma.... I seen her's and thought it was a wonderful idea..... So here we go.

It's Friday... for most people that would mean they have the whole weekend to do what they want.... when you have to make tuition payments.... the weekend only means longer hours at work. And trying to find time to spend with a boyfriend who has weekends off......

If you didn't know, I work at a small, almost botique, clothing store in downtown Anoka, MN. It's near my house and I love it. But, I don't want to be there forever.... Hence the "college student". While most colleges make you schedule your own classes and pick the number of credits you take on, mine does not. I will graduate with my associate's degree this coming October. Most associate's degrees take 2 or more years, while mine takes 14 months. They can do this by eliminating generals such as biology and chemistry from my schedule since I am going for legal administration. I guess I never really have understood the concept of generals or the fact of paying for classes you don't need. Christmas time really hit me when my friends were back in town for 3 1/2 to 4 weeks for break.. and I got 2 weeks off... I just had to remember that I will have a career before they are even half way done with college!! School is getting a lot harder now that second semester has started... I am enrolled in 18 credits this semester... full time is considered 12!!!! And I go to school from 9-3 everyday!!! Did I forget to mention that we have a dress code??? Business professional!! Sometimes I really miss my jeans!

Enough about school, it's Friday!!! And I actually don't work tomorrow.. I honestly don't know what I am going to do. I really want to go tubing if it's nice weather... or ice fishing!!!

Nick's birthday is coming up.. we are staying in our ice house Friday through Sunday... and he doesn't know it yet!!! He'll be excited.

I should probably go get ready... he's taking me out for dinner tonight!!!
